Necklace c/o Lisa Leonard / Top: Zara / Skirt: thrifted / Shoes: Penneys (Ireland)

This may be one of my favorite outfits ever. Ever. This skirt may be one of my favorite skirts ever. Ever! I found it in a small thrift store in Paris... We were going by and I just had to stop. I saw one skirt, and then started picking out every single one that looked like something I would wear. I had about ten skirts under my arm and my dad patiently waited as I tried them all on. I actually shop more with my dad than with my mom. It's ok, my dad has good taste in clothes! I didn't know if I liked this one that much but then I tried it on... Lovely! and now, with the red top – same exact red as the flowers on the skirt! – I love it even more. It's super comfy too. Also... finally a good shot of the necklace! I love it. My grandfather took these pictures – nice huh?
Yesterday we went to the Martin guitar factory and went on a tour. It's unbelievable! That's all, really. I can't wait to get my Martin next week... Very excited.

Necklace c/o Lisa Leonard / Tank top: Forever 21 / Skirt: thrifted / Shoes: Can't remember

Ok, maybe not just like Audrey Hepburn haha. But for some reason this skirt reminds me of her! Which I absolutely LOVE because I adore Audrey Hepburn. In this post I'm wearing the banner of love Lisa Leonard necklace. I'm going to take some pictures of it during the week. See, the close ones we took didn't turn out ok (because I didn't like my freakin' face in any of 'em!) But the necklace is absolutely beautiful and I love love love it! I'm thinking of getting another one from her shop that I also love... but I have some pretty expensive things to buy soon (hmm guitar, harmonium...) so I think I really have to control myself this semester!

It was a great last day in Paris! Now I'm at my grandparents' and it's going well too. Yesterday my grandfather and I went to a music store where I found a guitar I've wanted since I was twelve and saw it first. It's not that expensive (compared to 3000 dollar guitars) but I can't get it right now. I already know the guitar I want and it's a beautiful guitar. It's also a "normal-looking" guitar, while the one from yesterday is quite different. I showed my friend a picture yesterday and he went "eek!" but when I pick it up, it feels amazing, the sound is incredible, and I guess I like that it's weird. The guy at the store said it's a pretty rare guitar so they won't always have it all the time. I said "prob not many people want it" to which he responded "That is true!" and made that weighing-your-options hand gesture. We didn't leave empty handed, I bought a stand that I can use for my ukelele or mandolin. It's great!
I'm so excited about decorating and putting everything away in my room at Smith! I can't believe I'm a junior. I want to tell you about the rugs that I bought, but I'll wait and give you a "tour" of my room once I'm done unpacking. I think I'll also wait until I get my new instruments... It's going to be a great year!

Well, I'm off. I'm off to college again! And I leave the beautiful city of Paris... It's been one long, amazing summer. I'll be spending some time at my grandparents' house before we drive up to Smith and I promise to blog while I'm there. Now, I just want to say goodbye! Goodbye Paris. Slightly scared of flying but I will try to stay calm. (If there's turbulence, I will freak out a little bit...! Wish I had a hand to hold!) See you guys soon with the pictures of my last days in Paris.

Hello and thank you for being here! The blog is now at 30,000 views and I'm pretty happy about it! Obviously the goal is to have 30,000 views... per day! but you got to start somewhere, right? Please continue reading, continue sharing, continue pinning, continue following, continue listening, continue coming over to my little corner of the internet! Soon, I start my junior year of college (If it doesn't add up in your year, it's because I skipped sophomore year) and I'm really excited to go back to Smith College. I will try my best to continue blogging regularly. Also, yes, my turquoise highlights are turning green green green, but I don't mind it at all, and I'll wait until I get back to the States to dye 'em again!

Love love love

Well, I leave August 26th which is not that far in the future. I'm excited, scared, all of the above. My biggest concern is not knowing how I'll make everything fit in my room! Literally, no idea. I'll figure it out... I have a week or so to spend with my grandparents in Pennsylvania, and then we drive up to Smith on September 3rd. Classes start September 5th. Man! This summer just flew by! So these are pictures taken by my father last wednesday. He had a day off, so we went out and walked around Paris. That's when I got all those skirts/dresses at the thrift stores. See pictures below... I love love love my new dress! And look at all those different prints on the skirts! Amazing. Also, I got the blue skirt I'm wearing above for ONE euro at a thrift store. Best find ever, don't ya think!
