Last night, Anna and I went to see Great Lake Swimmers at the Iron Horse. It was great! Snowblink opened for them and I really enjoyed their music as well. After that we went to Sam's for pizza... Yes, 1am pizza. Anna got a really weird slice with tortellini on it – she said it was good. I got my usual, pepperoni. I took half of it back home 'cause the slices are huge. That means that when I get home from Haymarket in a couple hours, a slice of heavenly pizza will be waiting for me... Yay! If you're ever in Northampton, you should go to Sam's. On weekends, it's open until 3am. I think I may write a post on places you should visit if you're ever in Noho... I was in bed by 2am and was extra sure no alarms would go off in the morning because it is fall break and I definitely wanted to let myself sleep in.
As always, I woke up twice. Once at 8:30, then at 10:30. I always do that... It's nice though, you're not so tired the second time because you're already a little awake. I got ready to take the guitar back to the shop – by "got ready" I mean I played some songs, something I won't be able to do until next Friday. Oh well, I'll survive. It also means getting mentally and physically ready to carry a guitar case that weighs a thousand million pounds for fifteen minutes. I was so relieved once I got to the shop. Aaron was there, told me where to leave the guitar, and then I ended up staying for almost an hour... He let me play this beautiful 1968 Gibson. Absolutely beautiful sound. Definitely want it... Maybe one day... I told him I had to leave because I absolutely have to do homework this weekend. So now I'm at Haymarket, drinking latte and "doing homework", listening to the amazing Nick Drake. Weird weather!! I just looked outside and it's raining like crazy. When I carried my guitar to the shop it was sunny and I was just wearing a tank top. Definitely going to wait for the rain to stop before I go back to Smith...
Top: Forever 21 • Hat: H&M • Skirt: thrifted • Shoes: Can't remember • Bag c/o Lodinatt
I love this outfit. It's the first time I ever wore that skirt and I love it so much! Another amazing find in a Parisian thrift store. Can't wait to go back to Paris. Not going back for Xmas this time (first Xmas away from my parents, WHAT?!). Will wait until the summer... Soooo... my hair! Thoughts? Personally, so so so happy.
Back to Internation Politics for me... Happy weekend to you all.
