For the Colombia-Brasil match (which was awful; Brasil never should have won, they played like shit), my cousin invited a bunch of his friends over for a barbecue. Everything was delicious, and I was in charge of the drinks. It turns out I have a certain talent for cocktails! I made a ton of jello shots but I also made Colombian flag cocktails upon request. It was super fun and I had a great time making the cocktails for everyone.
This cocktail was really good and pretty light. It wasn't TOO hard to make but it was very easy for the blue to disappear quickly if you walked around too long. Also, as pretty as it looks, if you mix everything together it turns to a god-awful grey color. It's ridiculous how ugly it looks mixed! Even though it's quite good in taste.
• blue curaçao
• orange juice
• rhum
• ice
First, place some ice cubes at the bottom of the glass and pour a bit of grenadine. I'd say 1/2 inch maybe. Gently place some ice cubes on top, and slowly pour some blue curaçao – 1 inch or so. Once again, veeeery gently place some more ice cubes on top of that and veeeery slowly pour the orange juice (that you've already mixed with as much rhum as you want. How drunk do you want to get?) over that. I tried to pour it over a spoon to slow it down. Maybe that will help you. Fill to the top with orange juice/rhum. Ta-da!
